About Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary
Bharatpur National Park (also known as Keoladeo National Park) is a World Heritage UNESCO site.
During winter, thousands of migratory birds come to this park.
The place has open grasslands, wetlands and wooded forest areas with abundant wildlife including mammals and reptiles too.
The photography is from sunrise to sunset with ample time for photography learnings in field and getting the best from the place.
Creative Images - As this is winter time, the morning mist would present us opportunities to make dreamy images. The most productive time to create some unique creative images. You would learn more about white balance, light, compositions to make moody, long-lasting images.
Birds in Action - Later in the afternoon, as the action picks up around the ponds and wetlands where we can photograph unique moments in the life of birds such as their feeding, preening, fighting and raptors huntings too. It is a great time to learn about usage of higher shutter speed, learning birds behavior and anticipating the moments in wild.
Portraits - As the birds are more accustomed to travelers here, it presents opportunities to make some intimate portraits. You would learn more about patterns, composition, texture and what makes a great portrait.
Mammals - The forest trails also offer plenty of wildlife like the Jackals, jungle cat, Sambar and Spotted deer, Hyena and Python to make some interesting images.
Apart from understanding your camera settings for various lighting conditions in the field, we would have image review session each evening and share our learnings in making the best images.
Bharatpur is well connected by Road, Railways to Delhi/Agra where you take the flight to reach Bharatpur.
Day 1 - Reach Bharatpur, check-in. After the lunch, leave for afternoon session of Photography in the park.
In Evening, Presentation on basics of Bird Photography and QnA.
Day 2, 3 - Sunrise to Sunset photography in park. Evening Review Session.
Day 4 - Breakfast. Morning session of photography. Checkout.
Fees - Rs. 32,000/- ex Bharatpur.
Includes -
1. Hotel Accomodation (3 nights) on twin sharing basis.
2. Dedicated e-Rickshaw (newly introduced) to travel in the park and carry equipements on shared basis.
4. Lunch, Dinner on Day 1. Lunch, Breakfast, Dinner on days 2&3. Breakfast on Day 4.
4. Park Entry fees. Guide charges if any. Still Camera fees.
5. Photography learnings on field, Review sessions in evening.
Exclusions -
1. Any medical, travel, accidental insurance.
2. Tips, laundry or other expenditure on the trip.
3. Water bottles, soft drinks, personal toileteries.
4. Travel to reach Bharatpur from your place.
5. Anything not mentioned in inclusion list.
To confirm your bookings, Full Amount to be paid 45 days before the start of the trip.
Cancellations30 days before the trip : 60% refund.
16-29 days before the trip : 30% refund.
15 days before the trip : No Refund.
